Text of the provision

Art. 1641. As to all matters not specifically provided for in this Title, barter shall be governed by the provisions of the preceding Title relating to sales.

What this article means

For anything the barter provisions do not specifically cover, the rules governing sales apply. An exchange of one thing for another is treated, by default, the way a sale is treated.
