Art. 1235. When the obligee accepts the performance, knowing its incompleteness or irregularity, and without expressing any protest or objection, the obligation is deemed fully complied with.

What this article means
When the obligee accepts performance knowing it is incomplete or irregular, without protest, the obligation is deemed fully complied with. Silent acceptance waives the defect (estoppel by acceptance).
