Art. 1211. Solidarity may exist although the creditors and the debtors may not be bound in the same manner and by the same periods and conditions.

What this article means

Solidarity may exist even if the parties are bound under different terms, periods, or conditions. The debtors need not owe in identical ways for the obligation to be solidary.
