(n)

What this article means

A transitional rule for the changeover to this Code on 30 August 1950: the voluntary recognition of a natural child takes place according to this Code even if the child was born before the Code took effect.

How this article reads today. This is a transitional provision about the 1950 changeover, not a rule of general present-day application. The status categories it refers to were superseded by the Family Code, under which filiation is established as provided in Articles 172 to 175 and there is a single class of illegitimate children.
