Art. 1212. Each one of the solidary creditors may do whatever may be useful to the others, but not anything which may be prejudicial to the latter.

What this article means
Each solidary creditor may do whatever benefits the others, but nothing that prejudices them. A creditor's beneficial act helps all; a prejudicial one does not bind the co-creditors.
